Dr Prodromos Monastiridis

Dr Prodromos Monastiridis holds a BA in Marketing from the Technological Education Institute of Thessaloniki, a MA in Marketing and a Master of Philosophy discussing “A best practise for New Product Development for the Greek Banking Sector”, both from the University of Sunderland. His PhD, from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTΗ), discuss “Innovation, marketing and nonprofit organizations, the case of Greek cultural organizations”.
He was a Marketing Consultant at Macedonia-Thrace Bank and an Adjunct Lecturer at the T.E.I. of Thessaloniki – Department of Marketing, at City College (University of York, Europe Campus), at the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at AUTH and at the Department of Theatre Studies (NKUA). Currently he teaches at American College of Thessaloniki and at the Department of Business Administration (NKUA). He is also a Visiting Researcher στο DAFM Research Center at King’s College (UK). He researches and teaches topics such as marketing, cultural marketing innovation, communication, and event management.
He is Marketing Director at Thessaloniki Concert Hall and President at Thessaloniki Convention Bureau. He has various publications in newspapers and academic journals among them a chapter discussing “Innovation Policies in the European News Media Industry: A Comparative Study, Media Business and Innovation, Market Structure and Innovation Policies in Greece” (Springer editions, 2017). He is the author of the book “Marketing innovation and culture” (in Greek) from University of Macedonia publications (2021).
