Dr. Anastasia Samara is an architect, cultural manager and professor at Metropolitan College, with a PhD in Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. Her interests focus on the human-centered aspect of architecture, the preservation of cultural heritage and the use of Creative Industries for the development of a city. Her research has been presented and published at conferences and exhibitions in Portugal, the UK, Bulgaria and Greece. She lived and worked for many years abroad (UK and Germany), but her love of contributing to the cultural sector of her city led her towards establishing a professional base in Greece. Inclusive Lines is part of her latest contribution in which she acts as manager and coordinator. The main goal of her work is the promotion of participatory design methods through inclusive workshops in heterogeneous groups (people with and without disabilities) with the aim of creating a new cultural reality in Greece for the accessibility of cultural spaces.
